Thank you for choosing our cone yarn! ✨ To ensure the best results, here are a few important tips for working with it:

🌱 Cone Yarn = Factory Coating
Cone yarn often has a technological coating. After the first wash, it washes out, and the yarn opens up. However, it's better to wash a test swatch 2-3 times to see how the yarn behaves.
🧶 Knit a Sample – Save Your Nerves!
Before starting a large project, knit a test swatch and wash it 2-3 times. This will show the real shrinkage, density, and texture after blocking (wet blocking).
🧼 Washing Without Extreme Conditions
Only hand wash, use water up to 30°C, and choose a mild detergent (preferably with lanolin).
💧 Rinsing Without Stress
Rinse in water at the same temperature to avoid deformation.
🌬️ Dry Without Stretching or Clumps
Gently press (don’t wring out!), lay the item flat on a towel, shape it, and wait for it to dry. Don’t hang it – it will stretch.
🔥 Ironing? Be Careful!
If needed, iron through a thin cloth on the lowest heat, or steam the item, but don’t press the iron directly onto the fabric.
🧹 Pills Are Normal
Natural yarn can fuzz up. Use a pill shaver or carefully trim with scissors. Don’t pull them off by hand!
📦 How to Store Knit Items?
Store items in boxes or fabric bags, not plastic ones – this allows the yarn to "breathe" and prevents moisture buildup. To protect against moths, place sachets with lavender, cedar, or eucalyptus.
🚫 Don’t Store Knit Items on Hangers – they may stretch. It’s better to fold them carefully in the closet or store them on a shelf.
