I'm rating this Great because I love the yarn that came on the Cones. (In fact, I'm not sure I understand the request to review Cones.) I ordered Silver Graphite which is 60% Merino, 25% Silk, and 15% Lurex. I'm using this for a Feather Wing Shawl Pattern by Crafty Intentions, so it's a little bit costume-y.
So: the yarn handles better than expected. The Lurex makes it catch a little but I found that if I made sure not to rush, it worked fine. The yarn also frogs surprisingly well; again, taking it easy. It's a DK weight yarn and I'm using a 5 mm hook.
The color is gorgeous, shading from gray to black and back in fairly short repeats, with that wonder silver Lurex sparkle. I'm very happy with the yarn and the customer service. I haven't worked with yarn on cones before. I didn't feel it needed to be wound into cakes or balls, and it works just fine. All in all, the product is good, is as advertised, serves my purposes, and the customer service is good, as noted.
I wish I still lived in Portland, rather than half a continent away. I would love to go to this store.

I ordered this yarn on line so was worried how it would look in person but it did not disappoint! The color is as beautiful in person as it looked on line.
Customer service was excellent as well as this was my first time buying yarn with this company and I had questions. I can’t wait to finish this project so I can order more yarn from them!
